Rev limiters and shift lamp
Set the hard limit, optional soft-limit behaviour and shift-lamp thresholds appropriate to the engine.
Limiter structure
Rev limiter settings include a rev-limit map, a soft-limit start offset and a selectable limiter type. Hard cut switches off fuel and/or ignition at the mapped speed, while soft cut progressively reduces torque from the configured offset before the hard limit.
Shift lamp
Separate on/off RPM thresholds provide hysteresis for the shift-lamp output. Configure the corresponding physical output before relying on the lamp.
