CAN communications with 3rd party devices

Configure SCS Delta ECUs to exchange CAN data with compatible third-party devices.

CANTCU transmission controller

This setup applies to Delta 700, Delta 880, Delta 900 and Delta GDI6 ECUs with firmware dated 01.06.2023 or newer.

CAN settings

Configure the User Defined CAN Inputs as shown below. CAN 1 is selected in the example; select CAN 2 instead if the CANTCU GCU is connected to the ECU's second CAN bus.

Configure the User Defined CAN Outputs as shown below. CAN 1 is selected in the example; select CAN 2 instead if the CANTCU GCU is connected to the ECU's second CAN bus.

Engine torque map

The Engine Torque map should be calibrated on a dyno or rolling road. It can be estimated from a full-load power curve.
